Australasian
Livestock Services Pty. Ltd. (ALS) is based in Darwin, Northern Territory
and specialises in providing consulting veterinary services
to the live animal export industry in Australia and South East
Asia.
Our primary duties
involve the provision of Third Party Veterinary Services to
livestock exporters.
The principal of
the company, Dr
Ross Ainsworth B.V.Sc., is a veterinarian with
30 years experience, the last 15 years exclusively with livestock
exports. Dr Ainsworth is Accredited by the Australian Quarantine
Inspection service (AQIS) to provide Third Party Veterinary
services to the Australian live export industry. (AAV0099)
ALS also
provides veterinary consulting services to Livecorp, Meat and
Livestock
Australia and private companies in Australia and Asia. ALS
periodically conducts training courses for Livecorp to Accredit
ship's stockmen for both the
short and long haul cattle trade.
In addition to live
export certification, Australasian Livestock Services also
provides the following services:

Live export of unusual species
including deer, camels and buffalo

The supply of specifically
designed live animal shipping containers
